got my tickets to iowa today so i am for sure doing the trans iowa in april. funny to look forward to something so brutal as a 325 mile gravel road race in the spring time.
i am looking for sponsorship to help cover the cost of travel to and from iowa. i hate asking people to pledge money or sponsor something because in most cases it is a chunk of money but after realizing how many wonderful people i have met through riding, racing and framebuilding, if 50 people kicked down $10 each, it would cover my plane ticket to iowa. think of it as buying a friend lunch or a couple cups of coffee. the $10 would not go un appriceiated either. i am thinking of either postcards or t shirts for thank you gifts for sponsors. any feedback in this dept would be great. if you want to kick down $10 please send it to me at:
