hell in a handbasket?

g. pickle’s post across the hall that i thought really hits the nail on the head. on a similar note, i heard on NPR today that we set a new record in 2007 for the hottest year on record. just when the winter is really in full swing and i think about buying a car to get me back and forth to the shop, i hear this fact and it makes me want to work that much harder to use less than the average american. i still believe that if we all make tiny changes every day, like riding your bicycle, we can affect the world for the better.

It is easy to give up when all around us people are just guzzling away. I say we band together!!

my friend eric zo in SF once told me that every time you open up your wallet, you are casting a vote. that stuck with me and it works. i think there are a mass of people out in the world that are aware and fighting the good fight. not really a revolution but rather a evolution or velo-lution.
