i love my 39 t. little ring but i tried to evoke the spirit of the old man in the peleton using 48-53 front rings in the paris-roubaix. 7 miles of climbing on gravel out of scapoose and up to skyline in the misty, rainy weather. i estimate the mileage to be around 60 to and from the front door but it feels a lot longer at the end.

spent all day at issacs working on boxes for the hand built show booth in march. looking forward to meeting people and a little time out of town, but still have to get a lot together before anything can happen. the bike is at paint, the parts are all in the box and all i have to do is assemble and figure out how i am getting down to san ho in 2 weeks.

never fear. it all works out.

Crap, this computer does not work so well with me massive mits! The above should read:

Ride and cement your reputation as the coolest builder there or Joey will come out and cement your feet and make you the coolest builder at the bottom of your bathtub.

Sorry for the tech problems, a lame joke made even lamer through the repetition.

    To bed with me!
